「海に泳ぎに行く」がgo swimming in the seaとなるのがピンとこない。go to the sea for swimmingとしたいところ。in the seaに違和感があるが、辞書によれば、これで「海に（海で）」になるらしい。

Wayneのセリフ、We'll go there one day.にしっくりいかないものを感じていた。原因はone dayだ。some dayではないのかと。辞書をひいたら、なんとone dayに「いつか」という意味があった！

Never let anyone walk all over you.がうまく言えない。よく考えたら、なぜこれで「絶対誰にも好き勝手させるな」という意味になるのだ。慌てて辞書を引いたら、walk all overに「こき使う、ひどい扱いをする」という意味があるようだ。He was walking all over me.（彼は私をなぶり物にした）という恐ろしい例文が載っている。

惑星（planet）は恒星の周りをまわる天体のこと。太陽系には8つの惑星がある。内側から順に水星（Mercury）、金星（Venus）、地球（Earth）、火星（Mars）、木星（Jupiter）、土星（Saturn）、天王星（Uranus）、海王星（Neptune）となる。
惑星の周りをまわる天体は衛星（satellite）と呼び、地球の衛星を月（moon）と呼ぶ。他惑星の衛星をmoonと呼ぶこともあるようだが、これは比喩的表現（地球における月のようなもの）であって、正しい使い方ではない、と言いたい。まして、moonの訳語を「衛星」とするのはキモチワルイ。
