前回同様「二倍の～」という表現を間違えたが、「中学英文法を終了するドリル」には出てきていた（印象にないが）。前回のまとめを再掲。
- twice as ... = 2倍～な
- I just look twice as old. = 私は倍ぐらい老け込んだ
- Raising twins was twice as rough, but it was also twice as enjoyable. = 双子を育てるのは2倍大変だったが楽しさも2倍だった
- twice as ... as = ～の2倍～な
- He drinks twice as much as I do. = 彼は私の2倍も酒を飲む
- There are twice as many cigarette vending machines as cigarette shops in Japan. = 日本には、たばこ屋の数の2倍のたばこ自動販売機がある
- twice as ... as usual = いつもの2倍～
- When the stomach of a dead black bear was examined, it contained only one third as much food as usual. = 死んだツキノワグマの胃が調べられた時、通常の3分の1の食物しか入っていなかった
しかし前回は、本当にこれ以外は正解できたのだろうか。
