このレッスンでは知らない単語が出てきても決して辞書を引かず、その気持ち悪さを克服するのが課題で、ここまで幾度かの誘惑に打ち克ち、辞書は引かずにきたのだが、今回、snail だけはその「気持ち悪さ」に耐えられず辞書を引いてしまった（ただし英和でなく英英にした）。

Webster Onlineでは "a small animal that lives in a shell that it carries on its back, that moves very slowly, and that can live in water or on land" とある。かたつむりか、やどかりのことか。かたつむりだと、tanishi snailは変かな。
